I stumbled over the same problem as previously others had,
namely that t:panelNavigation2 multiplies
navigationMenuItems
on postbacks if the state is held on the client.

There is a JIRA ticket open for this issue (and a few older
threads):

ht
tps://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMAHAWK-508

Does anyone know what the current state is? As it is quite
old, can it
not be expected to be fixed in the near future or is there a
workaround
(besides setting the state saving to SERVER )?

Hi

I have recently upgraded to tomahawk 1.6 and I am using
glassfish v2,
and in v2 I have found I need to put the h:form around my
t:panelNavigation2 to make this work, previously I did not
with gfv1.
Since this change, the state is not saved for me either,
with client or
server!?

Again the same questions as the previous user, as it seems
this error
has been around for a while.
