How to create topics when using WSN?

I am  investigating using ServiceMix WSN to pass messages
between several
enterprise applications. So far I have the WSN example up
and running.

My requirements call for a specific set of topics to be
configured in the
messaging broker that the applications doing the messaging
will expect to
find.

How can I set up a set of topics? Is this done in the WSN
configuration, or
the JMS configuration?

it looks like topics are created dynamically upon the first
notify or
subscribe request. you can see this in the jmx console under
the ActiveMQ
Topic MBeans.
