there may be something in past in the mailing list archives
but not
recently (os even if there is something it will be
outdated)

the simplest thing would be just try - in general making
calls from
inside j2ee server should go through APIs provided by the
server - this
helps with performance and allows fail-over, load balancing
etc. so i
would check with weblogic support if wsif API may be
supported as some
kind of extension or they have something equivalent.
