org.apache.batik.bridge.BridgeEventSupport seems to be
changed in a little bit
odd way. I don't understand the innerworkings of Batik, but
in
BridgeEventSupport, you removed a code that sets false to
isDown field. Because
of this, keyPressed event never generates
"keydown" event. I added isDown =
false back to the keyReleased method in that class, and
works fine.

Yes I don't know why that line was removed.  I've added it
back in.  Ensuring
that keydown/keyup are only dispatched once when key repeat
is involved still
doesn't work though.
