thanks,
that was it, there were no fonts installed.  After I installed some fonts, the error went away.

 &nbsp; The problem is that the JVM isn't finding _any_ fonts.
I would guess that for what ever reason your server is
configured not to have any fonts installed.  ;I suspect that if you
install the font package for your distribution the problem
may go away.
