I am running an older Apache server (1.3.26) on Windows 2000
and have a
3rd party module installed. Everything is working great
then something
happens on the system and probably in that module where
Apache decieds
to restart the process. The problem is that even though it
was able to
load the module on startup it fails to load the module on
the restart.
I have to start Apache from the command line and everything
starts
working again.
In the error log I get the following:
Syntax error on line 45 of e:/ibm http
server/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load e:/thridparty/test.dll into server: (182)
Line 45 is the LoadModule line for the test.dll.
1) Is there a way to see why Apache is restarting?
2) Is there a way to force apache to only run if all
loadmodule
commands work correctly?
3) Any idea why a module would work on startup and not
restart?
Thanks for any help,
Mike
