Unclear. Of course, on a *nix box, there aren't any
"\"'s in the path
so it isn't an issue. It's possible that the underlying
code fixes
the slashes on Windows. Or maybe "\" just works
sometimes.

Anyway, I've applied the fixes. How embarrassing.
