    I'm trying to write a plugin to add a new type of Figure/Node and Edge to the class diagram.  I'm able to change the appearence of a current node type using the ClassDiagramRenderer class.  I9;m having trouble modifying the UMClassDiagram class, as per the cookbook.  It looks like I need to add a new class to represent the new figure I want to add.  All of the model classes I'm finding for this are auto-generated abstract classes, like  
org.omg.uml.foundation.core.UmlClass;  What class should I try to inherit/implement?

    Hi,

I did a project trying to add SDM diagrams to argoUML for school last year. I know how frustrating adding things to argoUML can be.
I don't know the answer to your questing by heart but I'll look into it tomorrow morning. If I'm not 

mistaken, we found a solution.
If you want me to, I could send you our plugin code. It's not very good but it might give you a better
understanding what a good project should look like ;)

    The code should be a big help. My specific project is adding aspects and pointcuts to the class diagram along with generating the corresponding code.
