hi guys, I think my previous message wasnt attached, so here I go:
I wrote something for a customer, he has a limited
number of channels, and since there's a lot of activity, there's so
much busy by his clients, which are trying to call his number. He hosts a conference room management service.
I wrote a patch (which is in prod now since 24 hours), which limit the idletime to x. He doesnt want to set the absolute timeout, cause he doesnt want to hangup active callers.
So that patch will stream conf-maxidle when the timesilence > x, then hangup the channel.
This is a first version, just want to know if there's any interest for a similar task. If there's, i'll post it to
bugs.digium.com and adjust my patch to be more flexible.
This is all based on the dsp. Maybe a function IDLETIME() could be created too, whatcha think?
