| libpri for FBSD 6.1 and 1.2.11 |

|
2006-09-06 03:57:43 |
I've got the latest trunk from svn, and the wcte11xp loads
fine
on my DL320 now.
Is there a different Libpri I need to get from svn?
Not sure what else I need for asterisk to handle my PRI. I
know the
driver is loaded, and sees the Digium card, but I'm
guessing
I need a libpri before asterisk will be able to manage the
channels.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bill

libpri 1.2.3 from digium should work fine.

be sure to have libpri built and install before building and
installing
asterisk. this is so the makefile mechanism can detect an
installed libpri
and build chan_zap with PRI functionality.

Well,
I deployed one of the Proliant DL320's
last night, slightly ahead of schedule,
due to a failing drive in my temporary
machine.
Running into the similiar high interrupt
issues again. The previous machine
was a Pentium 4 2.4Ghz with larger cache.
This one is the 2.93Ghz with 256k
L2 cache.
Do I need to enable anything special
in my kernel config to for this processor.
Just recompiling the kernel drove the
load up over 2, but mainly the interrupt
loss caused my bge driver watchdog to
reset the port. Ugly.
Any suggestions? this is a brand
new machine, and I bought 4 of them. Maybe
this is why HP was selling them so cheap..

Hmm..
Well, it won't build. I tracked down zaptel.h and full
pathed it, now
it's looking for zap.h, which I haven't been able to find?
Nothing in the zaptel-bsd-trunk or asterisk build
directories or the
normal include directories.

Ugly.
the bge(4) driver supports polling(4). you may want to turn
that on to
alleviate interrupt processing somewhat.

do be more specific with your observations. did you build
zaptel from the
zaptel-bsd subversion repository and install it ? this would
install
zaptel.h in /usr/local/include as per the freebsd
convention.

Yes, I did build from sub-version, and
I found zaptel.h , and I full pathed it
in the include, it then was needing
zap.h, which is the one I couldn't find.

Dinsesh,
Because it appeared to be a conditional
Define issue in pritest.c and testprilib.c,
I just commented out the "zap.h"
entries, and everything compiled fine.
Just about to install the card, and
give it a try.

could you post your build output ? zap.h is an odd file to
look for, since
it doesnt exist in zaptel-bsd. i just built 1.2.12 on
freebsd 6.1 without
any issues.
