I have upgraded asterisk today and everything works fine.
I compiled asterisk, asterisk-addons, chan_capi and
app_ldap.
Best regards,
Matthias

Thanks for your reply. Are you running 6.x-RELEASE? I have not reinstalled zaptel, I don't run chan_capi or app_ldap unless they were installed in the generic build of * so I can't speak to those. My system was working rebuilding *-1.2.12.1 this morning when I left for work. I'll check on it later and rebuild zaptel just to be sure. I hope this works. Thanks again. 32;

I rebuilt * 1.2.12.1 and then deinstalled and rebuilt zaptel, both from the ports collection. Still have the same problem. It's a no go for audio on incoming calls. Life's a real bitch with *. I will wager that if I blast the entire OS away and rebuild the whole thing it might start working...but isn't that the reason I hate M$ Windows and started using FreeBSD in the first place....DOH!

all ports are up-to-date on my system, maybe you want to
portupgrade
all your ports to the newest versions.
Are you using any hardware like ISDN?
Or is your system only SIP and IAX2?
Best regards,
Matthias

please trunkate your line at 78 characters
Zaptel is a lib so you need to build it before asterisk.
But it seems to be a firewall or NAT problem for me.
Best regards,
Matthias
