well the issue is zaptel 1.4 and as far as ai know 1.2.X
branch will be around
for awhile and having a asterisk14 and zaptel14 and libpri14
and
asterisk-addons14 would be the way to go. and as of now,
Asterisk 1.4 and
libpri build fine. its just zaptel and addons for 1.4 that
dont.

I am going to look at making a port for them once I finish
the freepbx port
that I have been working on with out help from anyone. I
ready that they wan
tit back but no one has been willing to come forth and help
so it has been
slow.

so I think spliting the ports will be needed. as that 1.2.X
will continue to
get patches and 1.4 will be the new best of the best branch
just like mysql
and apache and php all have multi branches.

Richard,

Any idea when your freepbx port may be completed? From what
I gather in
the port feedback it sounds like it's nearing completion?

Phil

i'd be surprised if zaptel 1.4 built and worked on freebsd,
given that
they're linux drivers. you should be looking at the
zaptel-bsd svn and
porting over (very slowly and carefully) pieces from zaptel
which arent
there yet. i last stopped a sync with zaptel 1.2.3, and like
i said, am
waiting for stabilization before making zaptel-bsd 1.4
ready.
