Hi all,
As we know we can configure in astersik like before 5:00pm
calls go to reception and after 5:00
pm calls go to some mobile no. One of my client requested
that he wants to manually shift the dial
plan like above as he has flexiable timing sometime he
finishes at 3:00pm some time 8pm. I can
not give him freepbx access.
Any idea or solution.
Regards
Farooq

You could use a database variable.

Make an extension that sets your variable to DAY or NIGHT
DBput is the application that does that

In your dialplan, use DBget to retrieve the variable from
the database, and
use that to make a decision on how to route the call.

There are a few options you could use:

The variable could be the time of day that night begins
(lets him set it to
activate later)

The variable could be the extension in a custom context to
go to (build a
mini-ivr that sets the variable to a number of choices, ie.
IVR, cell,
voicemail, IVR then cell, etc.)

Good Luck.
