Re: Audacity on Code:Blocks

I believe we’ve pretty much committed to ShuttleGui and, since there̵7;s no RAD tool to build the dialogs, it is down to good old fashioned coding.  I do agree that GUI programming can be very tedious, but ShuttleGui does reduce the tedium quite a bit.

I don’t think there̵7;s much of a chance of converting to Code:Blocks, so yes, you would need to write some code manually.  But, ShuttleGui does make it very easy and does reduce the amount of code needed.  There are many example uses of it through the source tree.

Sorry to say that Code:Blocks can’t be used since we are using a nice wrapper around wxWidgets that one of the other devlers wrote.  It&#8217;s located in the ShuttleGui.* files in the source tree.
