Accessing -help archive WAS Mac OS X crash on recovering files

My friend who has nothing to do with Audacity says he can
access the
above thread of messages OK. He also says he can access the
root 
of the list OK:

Also I can see the above if I remove the cookie and disallow
cookies in
SF.net (so I am not logged in and can't do so). So maybe it
has cured
itself? I do see a note I have never noticed before that
"3 messages
have been excluded from this view by a project
administrator."
But maybe I just missed it before.
