I'll be honest: right now this isn't looking like a strong application.
The fact that you've missed major features in a two-year-old series of
beta releases doesn't argue well. Talking about programming in "C/C++"
gives the impression you may not understand the difference.
The ideas in the GSoC proposal on our website imply taking this a step
further than you describe. It's a heavily interface-orientated task, so
zero wxwidgets experience makes it heavy going. Any other graphical toolkit experience that would be relevant here?
Richard Thanks for correcting me on the "C/C++" thing. Its not that i don't know the difference between the two but wanted to say that i am totally comfortable with both of them. And i am also aware of the fact that the improvements that i have mentioned in my post are just a few and the demand of the organization is more than that. I was just stating one of the many possibilities.
As far as experience with graphical toolkits is concerned, i am working on wxwidgets only and have successfully created a few simple widgets. One of them is a simple HTMLeditor. I know its too basic but looking at the progress made in a few days i can assure you that i will be well prepared in a short span of time.
The problem that i am facing is in writing the application for it. It is required that we should mention the implementation details and the time that will be taken for carrying out each step of the project, like coding, testing , etc. Taking into consideration just a few days left for the deadline, its quite hard to describe everything properly.
I need your guidance for the same. reply awaited
