Student candidates for GSoC, please monitor this list for
announcements
(and we'll try to keep GSoC in the subject lines).
Several student candidates who have contacted us via email
have not yet
applied. If you're serious, please go ahead and apply so we
can start to
give you feedback so you can craft your application. It
doesn't have to
be finalized until the deadline, after which you can only
comment on it.
So, getting our feedback and responding to it in the
meantime can only
help your chances.
We've had some interest from multiple students for a single
idea, so
there will be some competition on those.
We've also had some students interested in several ideas.
You can apply
for up to 20
(http://code.google.com/opensource/gsoc/20
08/faqs.html#0.1_multiple_apps).
