| Subject: [Audacity-help] Audacity 1.2.6
| I have recorded a number of audio clips on my computer
from my
| cassette tape player, using Audacity 1.2.6.
| The recordings appear to have recorded satisfactorily
as playback
| using Audacity is OK.
| Following recording I exported using the 'Export to
WAV' command
| into WAV format.
| My Burning programme, Ashampoo Burning Studio 7,
cannot read
| the WAV files using the burning process specifically
for Audio files.
| I have tested the burning process using a alternative
WAV format
| file not produced using Audacity. No problems with
the burning
| process.
| It appears to me that either the export to WAV format
is corrupted
| or I am not using the correct process in the transfer
to WAV format.
Please make sure you are exporting from Audacity a 44 100
Hz, 16 bit
stereo WAV so that it will be compatible with all CD burning
programs. For
instructions on doing this please see our FAQ:
