Just curious...What is the benefit of using Audacity
to boost the sample rate (example - 128Kb/s to
320Kb/s) of an mp3 file?

I was wondering that myself. Once it's encoded to mp3, how can converting the rate give any improvement? If you've lost information in the initial encoding, it's gone, gone, gone.

It must have <SOME> effect!!!! The file size is more
than doubled (example - 5Mb to 11Mb)....you just about need
a microscope to realize the true effect....it's more my
"signature"....
