Jimi thats real cool.
I just got a firepod a couple weeks ago but haven't got it running yet.
I had some issues with firewire cards. I just got one (firewire card) in today that the presonus guys say should work good with the firepod. Hopefully I'll have a chance to test it tonight.

Then later I might try compiling that beta of audacity with the asio driver.
It sure looks like the firepod is really going to rock once I get it working.

Bro, is Bloodkeg still together?
did i remember the name right?
google "asio for all"...
;)
the firewire card, you'll love once ya get it working, that low latency firepod thing is quite a trip.
you'll have to play around under preferences to get it to work right probably, it may show up as BCO line 0 or something like that ....the point is, it'll show up as extra line ins.
i do NOT know if all computers will do that by default, or if it's cuzza all the other weird software i've installed...i mean, if there's a freakin freeware music/vst/vsti out there i haven;t at least tried (i have thousands and thousands of things archived) i'd be surprised...my audacity folder starts with one of the very first builds right up to the latest...there must be like 12 of 'em at this point.
anyways, good luck, and i think the firepod will be a worthy addition for ya bro.
rock on!
jimi
