Hi Tony,

& is used to negate the reserved word "To".

Actually I tried the simplest form of MailMessage (i.e.
without encoding,
just say something like "Hello Word"), but with
an attachment and it didn't
work either. I thought may be I have to update my .Net
Framework 1.1 with
SP1. I looked through the MS lists of fixes, but there are
no references to
this particular problem, so I didn't download SP1. If no
one can come up
with a better idea, I will download SP1 and give it another
go. I'm also
waiting for my BDS2006 trial CD to arrive tomorrow. I'll
try it out there
too.

Regards,

David
