jhalfs latest commt

Manuel,
   I was able to build and boot LFS with the latest jhalfs
commit. I 
also  did a quick build/boot of HLFS/uclibc book with no
issues.

   I will take another stab at the README and also look into
the 
'universal chapter/tarball association' code.
