jhalfs-2.0 Ubunto issue and a CLFS bug

Manuel,
   A small bug has crept into 2.0 with regards to CLFS-1.0
and their 
svn.  In the past when then entered the chroot env they used
$CLFS but 
now use  $. Although functionally identical it plays
havoc with 
our sed for extraction chroot info.

   I will commit athis change and the others related to
ThoOldFellow's 
Ubuntu issue.
