I'm seeing the same when trying to build Xorg on a fresh LFS
6.-2 
install.  When checking the logs I get the same error and
trying to 
download the referenced files with wget failes :

Is this a problem with my installation, or has the files
moved at 
sourceforge ?

Found the answer to this myself.  My installation is hosed. 
Confirmed 
this by starting the "old" version of LFS, and was
able to generate 
makefile without errors. 

Any pointers on where my mistake is is welcomed.
