That is a paragraph from the LFS book that should be removed
in the CLFS book. 

Grub have a subdirectory with boot files for each supported
architecture. In 
CLFS the correct ones for $TARGET are already used.

cp $/usr/lib/grub/  x86_64-pc  /stage{1,2}
$/boot/grub
    humm.. my directory was x86_64-unknown and not x86_64-pc
maybe there is something not set up properly in the config
file (it was 
created months ago)
