I just checked the paco patch against experimental 2450, and
it no
longer applies. I'm working on a fix, and should be working
again soon.

While I'm at it, I'll be moving the 'export LD_PRELOAD'
commands into
the *.xsl files, so that the preload lib won't be loaded
until it's
needed right before the install commands. It will make the
patch a bit
bigger, but I feel it's a better way to do it, and it will
help avoid
failures when running the test-suites in chapter 6.

I'll hopefully be posting a working and updated patch in a
day or two.

There are some fast and furious changes happening with
jhalfs-X.
Manuel and I are pushing hard for a release this week or
next. Most of
the current changes are internal housekeeping and are more
aggressive
than the usual "oops, added a line of text".

Yes, I noticed big changes going on, especially in
LFS/master.sh and
./master.sh. I suspect HLFS/master.sh will undergo similar
changes, and
I've heard talk about getting rid of the _IS_() function.

I'm also doing some changes to the patch, and will try to
follow your
work. Hopefully you guys will calm down a bit after the
official release ;)

From a functional point of view the code is pretty
stable. However
the internal housekeeping is raising a dust storm. Once this
becomes an
official release the only changes 'should' be for obscure
bugs,
addressing the expected 'wish list' and adding ICA (an
analysis
methodology).

Actually, I was tracking a separate working copy to fix that
merge conflicts
and regenerate a clean patch.

But if you are fixing/modify the patch code, the I let that
merge fixes for
you also
