   I do not see any serious issues stopping the release of
this code 
eirther. With the new code style we may receive more
feedback and be 
able to tackle the BLFS issues.

   It is up to you Manuel, we can port it over now if you
wish. My 
fingers could use a rest before I start another project.

I will wait until next Monday.

That could bring some time to Jeremy to review the code
work, improve the 
README, and to write/publish an announce for the ALFS web
page and the 
relevant mailing list.
