I have all the sources in my source store, but they are all
bz2.
Damned svn jhalfs is downloading NEW copies if the originals
were gz.

and it fails to create ../sources if it doesn't exist.
Methinks cp
needs a switch.

cp: cannot create regular file
`/home/newlfs/sources/kernel-config': No
such file or directory

R.

Well, that is what happens when playing with development
versions

Not many help to can track that...

I think that you run jhalfs with
"--kernel-config" enabled and
"--get-packages" disabled without having created
yet $BUILDDIR/sources,
right?

Yes, in that situation we need to create $BUILDDIR/sources
prior to try to
copy the kernel config file.

Thanks for the bug report.

Perhaps, if a user specifies that they have a local source
directory, we
shouldn't bother verifying its md5 sum and just assume that
they've got
it correct. Also, we should look for [pkg-name]-[version].*
and attempt
to unpack it with 'tar -xf'. Only after we've verified
that there is no
such file in any extension should we download.

Sorry, I realize the unpacking is done later, and with a
different
process, but hopefully you understood what I meant.

If the user is sure that they have all required files and
that don't what
verify MD5 sums, wy is the user using -G ????
