Hey Guys! I hate the Avid VU meter. I can't seem to trust it as there are no detailed reference points. I always liked to patch teh AVID into my Beta SP deck and use the meters on it to do audio ;mixes. Now that I have my own Xpress Pro System, I'm stuck when it comes to doing audio mixes. Is there any type of external meter I can buy? A peice of sotware that will run long Xpress pro for metering? How do you guys do your metering? Mac oS 10.2. Xpress Pro 4.0 NO Mojo. ; I'm hoping I can just pug somthing into Optcal audio out on my G5 or into the fire wire converter on my DV cam? Any help?
