backing up projects

Hello,

How can one backup all the custom code projects in AX?
I know you can export the projects one by one or by selecting all and
you end up with an .xpo file. But this is a manual process.

Where does all the code (class methods, table methods etc) get stored
on the AOS server? Is it under the Appl folder?

Any suggestions/insight into AX code backup would be helpful.
