Read-only should not have anything to do with joins. Can
you tell me what
application you are using to run the queries? Can you give
me the exact
steps I would need to reproduce it?

Subject: Re: [bbj-developer] odbc question
Janet,
Yes, the read-only box is checked.
I want the database to be read-only. Why can't I do joins
with a read-only
database?
Like I said, this worked fine at another site with an
earlier rev of bbj.
Query box is checked.
Default policy for dictionary is allow all.
Read-only is true.
User has all permissions checked.
When I turn Read-only to false, the problem disappears.
But I need my database to be read-only!
Why does read-only disallow the joining of fields? I don't
want to write
back...

If so, confirm that
