Hello, I am Polish FreeBSD system administrator, I would like to participate in the course and get a certificate of achievement of FreeBSD system and in the future, if possible, I would like to become a trainer of FreeBSD. What do I have to do to get a certificate of an administrator and how can I become a trainer?

the exam will be available at a lot of events. I do not know
if there
is an event in Poland about BSD and/or OSS where we can
offer the exam.
Dates for the exam will be published at
www.bsdcertification.org, also
the chance to register for an exam. Please be patience, the
dates will
be released in the near future.
In Europe we offer the exam at FOSDEM (www.fosdem.org) which
will be
in Belgium.

Cheers,

Axel

There's MeetBSD (http://meetbsd.org/).

Regarding the training, we recommend that trainers follow
the
Certification Requirements (exam objectives) document when
developing
their courseware. This document is available in several
languages from the
Certification page of the bsdcertification.org website,
along with the
Command Reference. If you are interested in assisting with a
Polish
translation, we can put you in touch with the Polish
translation team.

Once the live exam is launched, we'll have more time to
visit the
creation of a formal study guide and/or courseware. Some
work was started
last year here:

http://bsdwiki.ree
dmedia.net/wiki/

For now, there is the BSDA DVD which contains all 4
operating systems,
their guides and handbooks, and a PDF of the documentation
started on the
mentioned wiki. It should be noted that all of these
resources are freely
available from their respective websites; the DVD is meant
as a
convenience and a thank you for those able to make a
contribution to BSD
certification.

Cheers,

Dru
