That's the idea, to use dbus as the IPC interface for most
stuff. We
should be using it for anything that would otherwise use a
unix socket,
CORBA, DCOP, whatever, unless there's a really, really good
reason.
(like sound; obviously you're not going to write a WAV file
through
dbus).
