Sounds like it was a good time. I hope I can get to the next one and
hopefully my ruby skills will have progressed by then. I'm also
interested in a hack session closer to home (SF) as well.

Cheers,
Greg

I wish I had made it to this.

Is anyone planning on holding another hack-ternoon session in the near future?

Rich Morin - Did you organize this one? What would it take to get another one together? Need help?

I could be persuaded to hold one. Anyone want to nudge me?
> What would it take to get another one together?

A critical mass of people, of different skill levels. I am thinking a
Super Happy Dev House-type thing, but shorter in length (48 hours is a
bit much for me). Anyone else game?

> Need help?

Sure, I'll accept any help, in terms of planning or executing.

The BYOL Ruby Meetups on the Stanford campus continue to happen every month. I've been to a couple now. The next one is scheduled for Sunday, Jan 28, 2007 at 1:00 PM. For more details, see:

I would like to hold a SF hack session at my office CitizenSpace in SOMA - 425 2nd St #300 - it's near the corner of 2nd and Harrison.

I'm out of town for the holidays but would like to schedule a weekday evening thing sometime.

How big is your space? How many people can you hold? The Feb 2007 SF Ruby Meetup has not been planned yet, and I like to play with the idea of a 4-hour hack session (6:00-10:00pm) instead of the usual presentation/talk format. I've been wanting to get down to Stanford for the BYOL, but weekends never work out well for me (and I suspect others as well). So here's an opportunity to do a medium hack session in the city.

Sorry for not getting back to you, it looks like my reply from my email program did not go
through.

We can hold about 20-25 hackers, and 50 in a lecture enviroment here at CitizenSpace.

I'd still love to host, so let me know. I am back in town so I can think about planning a hack
session. What nights are good for people? I am thinking the first one would be the week after
macworld ? Or maybe we should do one during MacWorld?
