If I were you I'd just try to design my html + css + js in
a way that
degrades gracefully in IE5 or any other crippled browser or
device.
Make your page still work even if all the fancy stuff is not
available
and work *great* if they are. That way you'd tease the IE5
users into
upgrading their browsers to get a better experience.
