We had a discussion about Seamonkey last month. Since that
time,
version 1.0 has been released and I'm starting to
investigate the
install procedures.
As a baseline, I'm using the Mozilla-1.7.12 procedures,
without system
nspr/nss.
This is what I've found so far:
1. The make bombs with an error message if 'ac_add_options
--enable-official-branding' is used. It says it isn't
supported. Since
it doesn't like this, I also remove the MOZILLA_OFFICIAL
and
BUILD_OFFICIAL environment variables.
2. No patches are needed (so far).
3. The build of the main system is successful.
4. The build of ipc is successful.
5. The build of enigmail fails because it can't find
config/autoconf.mk
although config/autoconf.mk.in is present.
Has anyone else run into this issue. If so, how did you
solve it?
