You may have heard of Distro wars and X wars but there is
another
arena you may have heard of... editor wars. When giving
your Linux
profile to an interviewer, he most likely will ask what
editor you
prefer; vi or emacs? I would be looking for more options
personally.
Shawn Wilson will be talking about vi/vim this month. So
even if you
don't prefer to use vi, you probably should brush up on the
basics of
how to get around in it at the least. Much of editing cron
daemons
call on vi.
Also Brian Irish is working on his VPN hacked access point.
He would
like to demo what he has done so far in setting this up on
the DD-WRT.
No word yet of a pre-meeting dinner. If one is planned...
