I hadn't received an email from BillingsLUG since the middle
of last year.
Yesterday I received six to eight of them. However, some of
the reply's came
with an earlier time stamp than the original. I figured I
got kicked off the
list since I hadn't shown up for a meeting since late last
spring. Something
always seemed to interfere with Thursday night.

This thread I think is possibly being confused with previous
request
for new hosting locations from January. At this time we are
set with
our fine host at MCS. We just want to know if other
established
locations are wanting to participate in a rotational
hosting. If you
are affiliated with these possible hosts and already know
what they
will offer then awesome; we can count them as one interested
in the
rotation. However we are not looking for a new permanent
location.
The idea of going to Borders does sound like a cool idea.
Don't want
to make our numbers sound lame, but our core folks that
attend is 5.
So yes we are small enough yet, we could meet at a coffee
shop.
Currently in the works is Computers 4 Kids but would entail
holding
the meeting on a different night. Still waiting for Dan on
this. So
possibly this month or the next we could check out a coffee
shop.
Also as a reminder, and don't want to sound like a broken
record; for
those who have given talks in the past or even those new who
want to
do a talk, please use our online event calendar to commit to
a
meeting. Plan it out is the idea. We are 12 days away and
I haven't
seen any offers for this months meeting yet. I'm not a
great speaker
and so I reserve myself for last choice If
nobody submits
anything I will come up with a couple small things. So even
if we
decide to do a tips-n-tricks night, please step up and say
you will do
one. You don't have to give it away before the meeting.
