I meant to send this the other day, when JJ mentioned it to
me. So far
there hasn't been a lot of response to my request for
suggested dates
from UK groups, but then it is still only February and many
of the
groups don't have regualr technical meetings.
However, currently I have the following dates for your
diaries:
Tue 20 Mar - Gloucester LUG (ML offices)
Thu 19 Apr - Birmingham LUG (Brum Uni)
CovLUG are currently scheduling their talks for networking
and email,
which will include a revised and combined set from me, from
two talks I
did at LUGRadio and BrumCon last year.
bond.pm, MiltonKeynes.pm and DevonCornwall.pm have yet to
decide when
they will be holding meetings, but hopefully we'll have a
few more dates
figured out over the next month or so.
So if you can make the above dates, please come along and
show your
support. If you're willing to speak at any of the events on
the tour,
let me know. Most of the sessions are upto 2 hours, so there
is plenty
of available space for a short 20 minute talk or perhaps a
slightly
longer 40 minute talk.
Some of the groups will also be featuring their own
speakers, so it
won't necessarily be us all night either.
