Dave Cross + UKUUG + Sunday Night

Hi folks,

Next week is the UKUUG 2008 Spring Conference, which a few
of us on the
list will be at. The Monday features tutorials, with Tuesday
and
Wednesday taken up with talks.

One of the Tutorial speakers on Monday is Dave Cross.
Unfortunately Dave
can only make the Monday, so will not be there for the rest
of the
conference. However, he is arriving on Sunday night at
around 7pm, and
has enquired whether there is an entertainment planned for
Sunday night. 

As far as I'm aware there is nothing planned by the
conference
organisers, however, I did wonder whether there was anyone
on the list
who would be up for a Sunday evening meetup in honour of
Dave. I suggest
The Wellington, as it's close to Dave's hotel and now a
regular haunt
for us.

At the moment I don't know whether I'll be able to make it,
but I'm sure
Dave would be delighted to see any of you that are able to
make it
along. If you can make it, please post to the list, so Dave
can see who
to expect.

Alan,

Thanks for the offer. That's very kind.

Unfortunately, my plans have now changed. I'm getting into
Birmingham a 
little later and some old friends are going to take me for a
meal.

I'm not sure what my schedule is, but I'll try to swing past
the 
Wellington later in the evening to see if anyone is there.
But please 
don't make a special trip for me as I can't guarantee that
I'll be there.

Hope to see some of you at the conference tomorrow though.
