Making Header Larger - 1 new

Hi all. So I have tried for about an hour before giving up.
I need to know how
to make my header bigger, as in increase the height. I
currently have a photo
and title as my header so I would like more of my photo to
show. I have surfed
the beta bloggers for dummies webpage but couldn't find
instructions that
