I have read this entire group, and agree, that (A) setting
up a Blog , isn't
that easy. For a webmaster, its ok. For someone who doesnt
know how to modify
a template it isnt. However, Remember, there are many
templates available to
choose from, that helps alot. That doesnt mean I am taking
sides here. (B)

New Beta Templates - 5 new

...The templates by Thurs are for the old Blogger. They will
not work in the
beta as beta templates are in xml format. If you want them
to work in beta you
will have to switch to Classic Template option provided at
the end of the Edit
Template page in Beta Blogger in which case you will stand
to lose some new

It seems that the only thing the new layout system is
missing is a way to add
code to the content between <head> </head> tags.
This is useful for custom
Meta tags and adding references to .JS files, etc... Of
course you can do this
manually by editing raw HTML, but I am assuming those
changes would be lost if

Hi all Evidently, Blogger does not have a capability to add
keywords to blog
posts. Unlike WordPress or Qumana, there seems to be no
capability to enter
something that looks like this: [tags]keyword1, keyword2,
keyword3. ....
keywordn[/tags] When I enter this in either WordPress or
Qumana, the keywords

How much space can you have? - 1 new

I don't know the specific wording, but how much
"space" can a blog have with
Blogger? I currently have about 50 blogs. My main page is
nothing elaborate.
Is there a limit, and if so, how much and what do you do to
not go over -

without converting my
old template into the new layout. I have switched my blog
weeks ago to use
with my google account but haven't moved to the layout
system of the beta.

right justifying blog contributors in sidebar - 2 new

I have a list of contributors--team members--on my blog
sidebar. While
everything in the sidebar is right-justified, the
contributors' names aren't.
I looked in the code to find the word
"contributors" in order to fix this

I just
republished the entire blog, rather than just the index.
That fixed all the

My Old Template - 1 new

I love the template I have made and worked hard to create
it. I tried to put
the code for that template into a new beta and it wouldn't
accept the code. If
I switch how do I keep my old template? If I can't keep the
old template I
