Strange things happening with CSS in IE - 4 new

I'm creating a new template for my blog (using a test blog),
using the CSS in
the b:skin area to make the alterations. However, I've begun
to notice that
some of my changes don't show up in IE unless I use inline
styling or external
style sheets to define certain elements. This only started
to happen about

Adding an "About" page - 4 new

I would like to add pages to my blog that aren't dated and
posted along with
the regular posts. Then I could put links to them in the
sidebar. This is like
having an "About" page or a FAQ page that you see
at other blog services. I
know that I could make a post and then link to the
permalink, but that

Small Border at Top - 4 new

My template and layout was working fine until I removed a
widget from the
sidebar and footer. Afterwards, a small border appeared
between the Blogger
toolbar at the top and the overall body of the page. The
border looks about 3
to 4 pixels thick and it runs 100% of the page wide. I went
through the code

Not really a question as much as a comment - The location of
the "Flag Blog"
button is inconvenient. When I'm browsing blogs, I can't
tell you how many
times my cursor has accidently drifted over the 'Flag
Blog" button, as it's
adjacent to the 'Next Blog' button. Then, of course, you get

Problemas uploading pictures - 1 new

Very often I get the following error message when trying to
upload a picture:

I am using Firefox, and it happens there as well as IE, but
I later found out
that it is only in Preview, and not on the blog's layout
itself. Whenever I
preview my layout everything is centered (there is a center
attribute on my
CSS but it's only to keep the table at the center of the
