"Add and arrange page elements" does not seem to

Just started using Blogger today. Posts are showing up but
1. all the boxes on
the page to "add and arrange page elements" are
empty. When I click on "edit,"
opens the dialogue box where I can select various
categories, but no options
here allow me to move posts on the blogpage. How do I move

alignments and words will all jumble up instead of sticking

Blog Archive and Links in wrong spot!!! - 2 new

For some reason my blog archive list and links went down to
the very bottom of
my blog (underneath all my posts) and I want to get them to
the right hand
side on the top (the usual place where people put them, and

Okay, here's my followup. Installing the backup did not
remove the line. Once
again, I searched through the code and did not find anything
that will clue me
in on what has created this line. I did discover the color
of the line... it
is white (#FFFFFF). For the most part, I do not use that
color on my blog. -
