Authoring software

Hi,

I'm very new to blogging. In fact, I only just started
blogging,
because I landed a job at a company where it seems everyone
is
blogging, and so I'm trying to get up to speed with the
concepts and
technology.

Anyway, what software do you use for authoring posts that
you publish
to blogspot? So far, I've been using Notepad and copying the
content,
but that's a bit cumbersome.

Any thoughts?

Why do you need an authoring software? If you are not
comfortable with
HTML, use the COMPOSE mode of the Blogger Post Editor. If
you are new
to Blogger, this site may be useful for you:

Enviroman is correct, you do not need any software.  That
said I love
using Windows Live Writer (free download).  I find it
extremely handy
and useful.  It works with blogger or Wordpress and several
others.

In particular I like it as it allows me to compose off line
if I chose
or save drafts to my computer as opposed to the website.

I would and do highly recommend it.

If you blog or contribute on more than one blog in more than
one
format, then I would say its the best software I have found
for the
job.  (Among other things it saves you from having to open
up multiple
tabs and log in and out all the time.

Windows Live Writer sounds interesting tho I doubt I would
use it. But
I may want to test it and write about it, as it may tie in
with this
