Hi all,
I'm new to blogging and had some concerns about putting my
work in the
public domain. Can someone offer guidance and advice about
protecting
my work from unscrupulous plagiarizers? It's not that I
think I'm all
that, but I would hate to have problems down the road.

Thanks!
Heg

It is very hard to prevent people from copying your work
once you put
it up on the web. You can try to frighten potential copy-cat
off.
Refer to

All published work is automatically copyright unless stated
otherwise.
But you may want to make it clear by putting up a copyright
notice:

logspot.com/2006/11/how-to-put-copyrignt-notice-to-your.html

If it is photo, you may want to put a watermark (copyright
notice) in
your blog. I am a cheapskate and I use free tools. See how I
put a
copyright notice in the photo in this post
http://dum

-copyright-notice-into-your.html

I have left out the (c) mark but it can be done with the
same program.
I will probably do an update or new post later, but if you
study the
program carefully, you probably can add that in without new
instruction from me.

You can also try disabling right-click, but this will lead
to a lot of
inconvenience for your visitors and do not deter determined
copy-cats.
Many people discourage this.
