An Open Letter
Dear Senator or Congressman
I have had enough of George W. Bush and his sidekick Richard
B. Cheney
(Dick) together they have ruined our Nations good name and
honor; we
are no longer that shining beacon in the world where human
rights was
the ideal that we brought to the table that all could see as
right and
honorable for free people to expect from their Governments.
Now we know that this United States Government is nothing
more than a
variation of the Sopranos and that our Representatives will
not use
the tools the founding fathers gave them for fear it will
look
partisan or bad for their own plans; I submit that if you do
nothing
but sit back watch Rome burn then you're as responsible as
this so
called President.
The House and the Senate have a duty under our Constitution
to correct
these violations of the law instigated and carried out by
our Leaders.
Now our Leader or is it King or Emperor spits in the face of
our Laws;
not to right a wrong but, to keep the truth from being
reveled; to
protect a minion. I submit to you that what Mr. Libby has
done is in
the name of protecting many more indefensible criminal acts
inflicted
on our Nation.
This is something you are suppose to correct as the Elected
Representatives; when is the Democratic Party going to live
true to
the Constitution and make the hard choices to protect and
defend our
way of life and rid us of this Corrupt, Criminal Executive
Branch?
Start Impeachment hearings now! These men are criminals;
investigate
everything these men have done in our names; let the Nation
understand
that no man is above the law and renew my faith in those
words "A
Nation For The People and By the People" still has
meaning.
I pray you understand that I love this country and have
defended it in
uniform, I spent more than twenty years in service to this
Nation, and
continue to serve in our Government. I need to see action
not
political double speak, you can help make our Nation the
beacon it
once was not so long ago. That or we will continue to creep
into this
abyss that pits us against one another where the powerful
control the
powerless and then like the Romans we simply fade away.
