I think proxies should be banned

With all the spamming on forums and newsgroups, both here
and on
newsgroups, why can't people in in the online communities
ban proxy
servers?


What is the point in spamming newsgroups, isn;t the Internet
supposed
to be a resource for things?  It is not a toy...
