Image format warped - 4 new

Image store has been broken since Wednesday, October 17,
through this Saturday,
October 20, as reported several times. When it was working
crisply detailed
images, such as charts, came out blurry because image
formats were being
warped..For example, we used a W600 H400 image sent in as
8-bit GIF, size 11KB.
