What Am I Missing?

I needed to update OSX today -- there was a security update
released 
last week -- and did so with no problem. Now, however, in
spite of 
the fact that Tomcat is running and I have changed nothing
since
earlier today, Blojsom will not display my test pages.

I get an Unable to Connect; Problem Loading Page error which
sounds 
to me like the server isn't running but I confirmed it in
the 
Terminal program. So is mysql.

So, what am I missing. I have changed nothing except to
reboot the 
machine. What could
POSSIBLY happen? I expect this sort of thing when I am
installing but 
once it is installed and
working, I expect it to respond. Clearly, I'm missing
something.

Any suggestions?

This is with version 3.0M3, etc.
